Keanu Reeves is an actor who throws everything he has into his roles – and this can be both a blessing and a curse. In ‘Dracula’ – the Francis Ford Coppola adaptation of Bram Stoker’s legendary vampire novel – Reeves attracted some flack from audiences and critics alike for his portrayal of Jonathan Harker.
Reeves attempted to make the character a reserved and clipped Brit – but his struggles with an English accent only served to make the performance seem overdone and stilted as far as critics and audiences were concerned.
