The most disastrous casting decisions in film history

[post_page_title]Big mistake[/post_page_title]

There are some films that are classics save for one giant miss-step – and ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ is perhaps the greatest example of this. In the film, Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn) has a neighbor called Mr Yunioshi – an Asian American character that for some truly inexplicable reason was played in the film by Mickey Rooney.

Big mistake

The film was criticized immediately upon release for the extremely stereotypical way in which Mr Yunioshi was portrayed, and this has gone down in history as one of the worst casting decisions ever.
