Bond girls are a very specific type of role – often being independent, smart, and morally dubious women that join James Bond on his adventures and give him an equal to clash with and work alongside.
In ‘The World is Not Enough’, the role of nuclear physicist Dr. Christmas Jones is played by Denise Richards – and unfortunately, critics argued that while her performance was perfectly adequate, it was a little too serious for a film franchise that is ultimately extremely kitsch and over the top.
