January Jones is a very well-respected actress, having won acclaim for her stellar turn as Betty Draper in the hit TV drama ‘Mad Men’. However, critics and audiences felt that she was unable to bring this same prestige to her role as Emma Frost in the superhero movie ‘X-Men: First Class’.
Frost is a complicated and commanding figure in the comics, but critics felt that shallow writing and an off-key performance from Jones left Frost feeling flat in the film.
