Playing famous pop culture figures is always a pretty big task, as an actor has to do justice to someone that people already have a vivid impression of. As such, critics raised eyebrows when it was revealed that Lindsay Lohan would be playing the legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor, in a TV movie about her relationship with actor Richard Burton.
Eyebrows stayed raised after the film aired, when critics argued that Lohan did not have the chops to play such an iconic figure in film history.
