The comic book movie ‘Elektra’ is one that most people have forgotten about by now – which might be for the best. The film got a mostly negative reception on release, mainly for uninspired writing and the choice of Jennifer Garner for the lead role of Elektra.
While Garner had proved that she could tackle serious work before with her time on ‘Alias’, it was argued that she was simply unable to make the character as dark and conflicted as she is in the comics.
