It’s hard to find fault with a series so meticulously rendered as the ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy, but there are one or two snags along the way. For instance, critics claimed that the performance of Liv Tyler as the elf warrior Arwen was somewhat underwhelming.
While they felt Tyler had put her best foot forward with the role, a few sparse appearances and a lack of material to work with meant that Tyler was unable to move the role beyond two dimensions.
