Once again, we return to the historical epic ‘Alexander’ – which raised more than a few eyebrows due to the casting of Angelina Jolie as Olympias, the mother of Alexander.
Critics and audiences were confused as to why Jolie had been chosen for the role, given that she was nowhere near old enough to realistically portray the mother of an adult Colin Farrell. Farrell was twenty-eight when ‘Alexander’ was released – and Jolie was only one year older at twenty-nine.
