You’d think the leader of such a successful oppressive society would be a mastermind. After all, Snow has managed to keep the Hunger Games going for many decades with minimum rebellion from the people in the districts. But seriously, this semi-senile man seems pretty clueless, regarding pretty much everything but garden work.
Perhaps the movies start after his hey days are already over, but he doesn’t exactly instill the fear and respect in us that everyone seems to feel in the movies.
