While Katniss is hiding on top of a tree to get away from an angry swarm of contestants out to get her, the others make a half-hearted attempt at climbing the tree then shooting a couple arrows at her before deciding to wait it out – thanks to Peeta’s suggestion.
Then, they just camp under the tree and make a fire. But why didn’t they just light Katniss’ tree on fire? Seems like that would have been a much smarter move instead of wasting half a day just waiting there.
