Following the lead of other popular series like Twilight and Harry Potter, it was decided that the final Hunger Games movie would actually be separated into two parts. However, many fans found that both Mockingjay movies dragged on too slowly, eventually leading up to an anticlimactic ending.
We don’t even get to see most of the final battle between the Peacekeepers as Katniss gets knocked out and Haymitch just explains what happened the following scene. Then, she just goes on to live happily ever after with Peeta and their children.
