When Peeta has his interview with Ceasar, his witty banter garnered laugh after laugh in the crowd, despite not really being all that funny. “Do I smell like Roses?” Seriously? Why do they think that is so funny?
Then, when he implies that the girl he has had a crush on since he was a child is Katniss, the crowd doesn’t seem to care, like, at all. They just remain silent, which seems odd considering how boisterous they were about everything else he said earlier.
