[post_page_title]Katniss thinking highly of Peeta[/post_page_title]
While the will-they-won’t-they relationship between Katniss and Peeta is one of the driving forces behind the series, it is still never really explained why Katniss cares so much about him. So much, in fact, that she can be heard saying over and over again how the rebels should have saved Peeta instead of her.
We get he is her friend and all, but does she really think his life is more deserving than hers? And does she honestly believe that he would have done a better job at leading the rebels? Or is she just saying it out of survivors’ guilt.
