Life happens. Sometimes it keeps us from a test. Whether we like it or not, at times, there’s nothing we can do about it. Especially if a death in the family occurred, we’d expect our professor to understand. Well, think again.
This guy expects his students to know months in advance if something terrible is going to happen, and when! Harsh. If he didn’t follow this abrupt, heartless clause with the detail of dropping everyone’s lowest test score, we might think him a total monster. At least with this loophole, an emergency won’t cost students quite so much.
