I was in the same room with one of the IT guys and his boss when they were setting up someone’s work station. Unfortunately, the IT guy dropped the monitor and seriously damaged it in the process.
All of a sudden, he starts raving about how they couldn’t make him pay for it, using some rather colorful language. Once he finished, his boss calmly told him that he wouldn’t have to pay for an honest mistake, but he was being fired for his offensive rant.
