My wife manages a coffee shop, and decided to go easy on an employee by giving him a verbal warning instead of a write-up that would be permanent on his record.
Instead of being grateful, the employee snitched on my wife by telling the owner that she didn’t write him up. I have no idea what he was thinking, but the move clearly backfired. Along with writing him up, the owner fired the employee the same day.
