I was working as a manager at a fast food place when I was around 20. This 30-year-old woman refused to respect my authority, because I was much younger than her.
When my manager reminded her that I was her superior, she replied by saying she won’t take orders from a teenager. He told her that I was actually 20, in which case, she said that was okay. But my manager fired her anyway, since she was so blatantly disrespectful.
