Working the night shift at my gas station can be pretty boring, but I had this one guy who was doing great for an entire year. That is, until he got into this new game on his phone.
I told him repeatedly that he could only play when there were no customers around, but he just wouldn’t put his phone down. I had no choice but to fire him. Later on, I found out he ran up $50,000 on his credit cards to keep playing that game.
