As well as making students angry, the new dress code had made the parents angry. In fact, they were more than angry, they were furious. As soon as the parents found out what had happened, hundreds of emails were sent, phone calls were made, and complaints were filed regarding the unfair treatment of their daughters.
One particular parent named Deanna Breen said, “What my daughter could wear last year, she’s not allowed this year. And there’s been no warning.”
