The parent group was able to conduct a survey within the community and gathered more than 100 personal stories related to dress code violations. The majority of those stories were told by women and girls, and they described feeling awkward, embarrassed, and uncomfortable.
A mother-of-two named Megan Drew said there were kids who graduated as far as 2001 talking about has it has continued to impact them in their lives. She wants to avoid the same thing happening to her children.
