The district issued a statement saying they are indeed aware concerns raised about the dress code have been circulating on social media, which has made them start reviewing their policy and its implementation.
This is turning out to be a little tricky though, as the policy, besides listing specific rules, also adds “the administration reserves the right to determine what is appropriate for school.” This essentially means a principal and their staff of teachers can independently decide anything is inappropriate.
