Whether we like it or not, the way we dress and the way we present ourselves in the community is important. School uniform or school dress code is the first time we have to truly think about the clothes we put on our backs. Sure, looking smart and presentable is important, but how far is too far when it comes to setting rules on what is appropriate and what is not?

Unlike in Britain and in a lot of other countries across the globe, the majority of American schools don’t bother with uniforms.
They, instead, typically enforce a dress code in which students can wear their own individual clothes as long as the outfit adheres to the school’s dress code – basically anything that’s not inappropriate.
