In order for us to truly enjoy a piece of entertainment, we have to suspend our disbelief. That means that for the entire running time of what we’re watching, we’re putting critical thinking aside and just going along for the ride. Well, these behind the scenes photos from hit TV shows are guaranteed to shatter that suspension of disbelief, but you’ll still get a kick out of seeing your favorites in a whole new light.

Right from the very beginning, filming Game of Thrones was one of the biggest technical challenges in television history. The production operated in six countries spread across two continents – often simultaneously! This photo was taken in 2009, during the show’s very first season, and it really messes with our minds.
All we see is a group of guys in big coats looking tired and/or bored with huge colorful umbrellas everywhere. Considering Castle Black, where this photo’s set, and The Wall were filmed in Northern Ireland’s abandoned Magheramorne Quarry, bad weather was probably all too common… but we thought the Night’s Watch was tougher than this!
