The severe, thrilling mood of The Walking Dead is fitting of a zombie apocalypse, where characters are struggling to survive both the walkers and the infighting. By the looks of this photo, featuring Norman Reedus, Scott Wilson, and Andrew Lincoln in their characters’ costumes, things are more light-hearted off camera.
It’s surreal to see them goofing off. Fun fact: Reedus almost never joined the gang. He originally auditioned for the role of Merle. He was so talented, writers created the character of Hershel, who is not in the comic books, especially for him.
