Set on a farm in Plum Creek in Minnesota in the late 1800s, the historical drama Little House on the Prairie tapped into the small agrarian life of one family, the Ingalls.
While the series focused on the farm life and development of the young Laura Ingalls, the family also visited the town’s general store and restaurant, taking their covered wagon. Nothing pulls you out of pioneer life quite like seeing set lights and camera hanging over the prairie scenes, though.
