Here’s a little bit of Hollywood inside information for you. If you’ve ever wondered what that thing is called, it’s a clapperboard. They’re used to facilitating the synchronization of picture and sound during a shoot, as well as make note of the scene, the take number, and other useful information.
Now, usually the clapperboard has its very own designated operator – the clapper loader, or second assistant camera. In this episode of Chuck, however, we guess they were indisposed somehow, so Yvonne Strahovski – in full costume as CIA agent Sarah Walker – had to do the honors instead. Hey, maybe money was tight at the Strahovski household.
