Though the hit show Friends ran from 1994 to 2004, most of the series took place on the sets of Monica and Rachel or Joey and Chandler’s apartments. A notable exception to this was the episode “The One with the Football,” where the gang played a competitive game in the park on Thanksgiving.
This was not filmed in a park in the West Village of New York, though. The friends fought for the Geller cup on a specially made set directly across from the show’s usual set.
