Love can make things complicated, and there was no love lost between Lena Headey and Jerome Flynn, who plays Bronn. The pair had dated before Game of Thrones was even a thing, but their relationship allegedly ended badly back in 2002. Headey seemingly hadn’t forgiven Flynn for whatever it was that he did wrong and she couldn’t bear to even be in the same room as him.
That made shooting scenes incredibly tricky, and the two characters were rarely ever seen on the same set together. It was pretty difficult to keep them separated during some seasons as both characters tended to be involved in what was going on in King’s Landing.
