Brienne of Tarth dedicated her entire life to becoming a knight and thanks to Jaime Lannister, she did. That commitment made by Brienne was also made by the actress who played her, Gwendoline Christie.
According to reports, Christie spent months training to be as commanding with a sword as her character was in the story. All the hard work paid off, and Brienne was one of the best warriors Westeros ever seen. Christie is an excellent swordswoman, but we can’t imagine she walks around in a suit of armor every day.
