Then there were the neverending struggles for power and whispers in the shadows plotting to overthrow the rulers. It was all about who was going to sit on the throne at the end, and the result was a shock to quite a few people. Not only did the show keep us guessing right up until the end, but it also became one of the biggest TV series of all-time.
