Melisandre was no stranger to playing with fire on the show, and it seems as though the actress who played her wasn’t scared of it either. This social media post shows Carice Van Outen’s sense of humor as she poses with Kerrie Ingram, who played Shireen Baratheon.
Shireen was famously burned alive by her father as a sacrifice to the Lord of Light to let him win a battle. Perhaps the fire took too long, so Van Outen has come prepared with some firelighters.
