The crew of Game of Thrones tell all about what the actors are really like

[post_page_title]Protecting the horses[/post_page_title]

Horses were a vital part of the entire show, so it was important to make sure they were all treated with care when filming. To ensure no horses were injured in the making of the show, the actors and extras were not allowed to carry any real weaponry while near them.

Instead, they had to carry fake ones that couldn’t do any damage to the horses. The horses didn’t choose to be a part of the show, but at least they didn’t have to suffer for the parts they did play.
