All we ever learned about the Night King in Game of Thrones was that he seemingly wanted to hurt Bran at all costs. That was it. At least thanks to this shot we can see that the actor who played the Night King, Vladimir Furdik, was actually a nice guy.
Who would have thought we would see the Night King shielding Bran from the rain by holding an umbrella for him? Maybe this was all he was planning on doing the entire time, and Arya took him out too soon.
