While Jaqueline does see that other women are treated differently when they do and don’t wear makeup, she hasn’t really experienced it herself. One of the main reasons for this is because she doesn’t wear makeup very often, and so most of the people she knows and cares for know what she looks like without makeup.
However, she has noticed that she sometimes does get more attention when she has put more time into getting ready and putting some makeup on. When she lived in Mexico, though, she didn’t experience any difference.
