When Jennifer doesn’t wear makeup, she also chooses to wear her contact lenses, and she believes that this allows her the chance to blend in with the rest of the world. Because she has more male friends than female friends, she just becomes one of them.
However, things change when she wears makeup and chooses to don her contact lenses. When she does this, she feels as though people’s compliments are more genuine, and she gets the feeling that they are much nicer to her. However, this also keeps many guys at bay, as they supposedly feel intimidated.
