Abby Chebli loves to wear makeup, but she also loves to have the ability to go makeup-free every now and then. When she wears makeup, however, she finds that women will shower her with compliments, but that men will stare at her so much that she begins to feel uncomfortable.
She also gets the impression that people don’t take her seriously – but that changes when she doesn’t wear makeup. She feels like she is received well in conversations, and she feels like she blends in more, which can come as a welcome relief.
