Another Tom Hanks movie that is definitely worth a watch is the 2000 drama ‘Cast Away’. Although arguably not much happens in the film, it’s Tom Hanks’ performance that carries the movie along. He was even nominated for the Best Actor Oscar at the 73rd Academy Awards.
However, there’s one detail in the film which had fans rolling their eyes. It was during the scene in which Tom Hanks’ character finds a FedEx box floating in the ocean – for some reason, none of the contents are water-damaged. How does that work?
