Here’s yet another historical drama that didn’t quite match up to the history books like it should have. 2004’s ‘Troy’ may have grossed an impressive $310 million at the box office, but some fans have criticized the historical inaccuracies of its props.
For example, in one scene, Orlando Bloom’s character sits underneath a pretty pink parasol in the year 1993 BC, despite these not actually being invented for another 800 years.
