‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ is probably the most successful Disney franchise of the 21st century, having spawned five films in total, with more in the pipeline. However, despite its huge success both critically and in the box-office, the franchise isn’t without its mistakes.
In fact, there’s quite a few. In the first film titled ‘Curse of the Black Pearl’, the character of Captain Barbosa is seen holding a Granny Smith apple, despite these types not being around for another 140 years in 1848.
