If you haven’t already seen the incredible 1999 drama ‘The Green Mile’, then we highly recommend you do. However, we also suggest you bring along a whole pack of tissues because, well, you’re certainly going to need them.
However, there’s one scene that includes a big historical inaccuracy, and it’s the scene that sees Coffey take a seat on the electric chair. This method of capital punishment wasn’t introduced until the year 1940, which is five years after the film is set.
