The biographical crime-drama ‘Public Enemies’ was a huge box-office success when it was released back in 2009, having earned $241 million from a $100 million budget. However, just because it was a financial success, that doesn’t mean critics loved it.
In fact, a lot of eager-eyed viewers criticized its historical accuracy of the life of real bank-robber, John Dillinger. In the film, he’s seen shooting two rival men named Pretty Boy Floyd and Babyface, but in reality, this never happened. John Dillinger died way before these men were shot.
