Biopics are a fantastic way to immerse theater-goers into the real lives of important historical figures, and if done right, they’re a wonderful way of honoring such great achievers. 1992’s ‘Malcom X’ was highly praised when it was released.
However, there is one mistake that has been nagging audiences ever since it was first spotted. In one of the scenes, Malcolm is heard yelling for someone to call 911, but in the year 1965, this wasn’t the emergency services number. It wasn’t until three years later in 1968 that this became the number to call.
