Haggis is not blessed with having a great reputation to begin with. The Scottish will insist that it’s actually delicious, and they may well be right. But these cries have only fallen on deaf ears over the years.
That doesn’t look set to change any time soon, with canned haggis only serving to further damage the image of what’s actually a well-loved national dish. We just can’t get over the appearance. A tube of indiscriminate meat isn’t particularly appealing, no matter how you slice it.
