We rag a lot on foreign cuisines in this list, but we think it’s perfectly clear that the U.S. is capable of producing some true culinary crimes. The hot dog is controversial fare to begin with, given the somewhat mysterious nature of the meat that comprises it.
Although, obviously that’s never stopped us from devouring them. However, the whole five in one can (with brine) situation is enough to make us consider going vegetarian.
