It seems that the neighbor hadn’t decided to put those blocks on Lynch’s driveway because he’d felt like it. The man actually had records of his own which stated that the section he’d cordoned off belonged to him.
Of course, this contradicted the proof that Oliver had which made it clear that every part of that driveway belonged to him. Eventually, the neighbor was the one who relented and agreed that Oliver was the one in the right. So, he decided to see about having the cinder blocks removed imminently.
