[post_page_title]A friendly face[/post_page_title]
While some people jump between houses every couple of years, Oliver had been a firm part of his neighborhood for more than two decades. He’d been living in his house in Osceola, Florida for 25 years, making him one of the area’s most prominent residents. Lynch had seen many people come and go since living in Osceola, and he’d tried his best to socialize with as many of them as possible.
Some weren’t interested in building a relationship, while others had gladly welcomed Oliver into their lives. They grew to see the senior man as a friend, and they valued the opinions he had for the neighborhood. Unfortunately, one person who didn’t care much for what Lynch had to say was about to move in and stir everything up. They were set to take up residence right next door to Oliver and become the Homer Simpson to his Ned Flanders.
