[post_page_title]When the Frozen movies took place[/post_page_title]
Most Disney films have a timeless quality that makes it hard to figure out when they took place. However, the flashback scene with Agnarr and Iduna provides a helpful clue. On the cover of Aganarr’s book is a silhouette that resembles Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Based on the book’s publishing year of 1837, we can conclude that Frozen took place around that time. That means Frozen II would have taken place in 1840, since the story is set 3 years after the events in the first film.
