In the real world, a lot can happen in three years. But in fictional kingdoms like Arendelle – eh, not so much. In Frozen II, we find that the kingdom is doing well under Elsa’s reign, and the sisters are getting along swimmingly. Anna and Kristoff are still the happy lovebirds we remember from the first film. This kind of predictability works well with children, who thrive on structure and consistent routines. Adults, however, were probably disappointed by the lack of progress.
