While you can leave your ex in the past, the trauma they inflict can stay with you for a lifetime. That seems to be the case for Anna and Elsa, who were both cruelly used by this power-hungry prince. Anna, for example, uses Hans to represent a villain during a game of charades. As for Elsa, she comes across an ice sculpture of Hans as she passes by her memories in Ahtohallan. Grown ups can totally relate when Anna angrily smashes the statue into pieces.
