Ball gowns and Disney princesses go together like cake and ice cream. But in Frozen II, Anna and Elsa have swapped their long, flowing skirts for sensible pants. Why the big change? According to co-director Jennifer Lee in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Frozen II is an action-packed film that mainly takes place in a forest. Elsa and Anna have to be a lot more active than they were in the first film, so pants seemed like the natural choice.
